Hot melt adhesive coating is a green and environmentally friendly coating and packaging technology. At present, although the development history of domestic hot-melt adhesive coating technology has been more than ten years, the manufacturing technology of hot-melt adhesive coating machine is still in the immature stage in China. Many printing and packaging machinery manufacturers produce hot-melt adhesive coating machine, its main quality problems have not been well resolved. Hot melt adhesive, as the name implies, is an adhesive that becomes molten after being heated and is applied to bond various materials together. Compared with other adhesives, hot melt adhesive has the following characteristics: 100% solid composition, no solvent and water components; thermoplastic, that is, it can be repeatedly heated and melted and cooled to solidify. This process is reversible. The chemical and physical properties of hot melt adhesives The properties will not be changed because of this; the hot melt adhesive must be heated to become a molten state before it can be applied; the hot melt adhesive is cooled and solidified to produce adhesion. Since its inception, hot melt adhesive has been widely used in food packaging, book binding, disposable hygiene products industry, furniture industry, label industry and other fields due to its advantages of high bonding strength and fast curing speed.
Classification of Hot Melt Adhesive Coating Technology
1. During the coating process of the blade coating system, the glue is often uneven, which requires a certain squeegee mechanism to squeegee the glue evenly. The scraping mechanism mainly includes stainless steel scraper, comma scraper, scraper, wire scraper, airflow scraper, etc.
2. Anilox coating This coating equipment mainly uses anilox coating rollers for sizing coating. The coating is uniform and the coating amount is relatively accurate. However, once the type of coating anilox roller and glue is determined, it is difficult to adjust the coating amount, which is also anilox coating.
The main reason for the limited application of rollers.
3. Calender coating This method uses a calender to coat the sizing material on the surface of the paper or fabric substrate, which is divided into film calender coating and powder calender coating. The former is to make the coating plastic into a film, which is heated and melted on the surface of the substrate by a calendering roller;
4. Spraying system This kind of coating equipment mainly heats and melts the solid glue, and then sprays the glue directly on the substrate through the coating die by the hydraulic device.
